It's not a M16, this is a Diemaco C7, I think people from Canada should know that weapon. This is the primary weapon what we do use in the dutch army. The C7 is a licensed remake of the M16, they're the same thing. tongue

Regardless, it seems like the Dutch like to use machine gun optics(MGO) on an assault rifle... something an MGO wasn't designed for. The MGO I believe starts at the 500 meter mark, which is where the M16 is beginging to push its limits, and goes out to 1800 metters, way past the M16s range for even an area target. An RCO is what they need, and for a SAW the SDO is needed. The MGO was designed for the M240, a 7.62 medium machine gun. It also could be used on a M2 .50 cal. Must be budget related. Question

Thats sick GuNn3R! Only sqaudleaders and up get M4s in the Corps, well weapons guys do too but its little consolation as they are carrying the M4 and they're main weapon like a 240 or a 60mm mortar or a SMAW rocket lol.

Only Ricky RECON or MARSOC get that optic and suppessors.

I also like to post some more weapons what we do use in the Dutch Army.

Dutch army Assault weapons:
Diemaco C7A1
Diemaco C8 >> full auto >> is being used by the dutch marine corps & Corps Commando
Hacker & koch HK 416 >> used for special troops in the Marine corps & commando's
Hacker & Koch HK 417 >> used @ Corps Commando's for there sniper teams

But guys I had a question, can you guys give me some more information about some weapon scopes? I know a lot of weapons, but the scopes, hmmm.. I just don't know..

well those will depend on which type of rifle you are talking about. There are many kinds and alot of them you have to match it to the rifle.. some are just overkill depending on what your planning on using it for.

I personally have quite a few rifles and scopes and I dont just stick to one brand but the ones I like. Especially if I am using my rifles for hunting. Be prepared though, since optics would be something you wouldnt want to go cheap on..but at the same time you dont need to spend that much on.
