Well i tried to play it but it froze my computer. lol. Realized i had a lot of shit on it that i really didnt need anymore so i just did a factory reset on the damn thing. Hopefully this will work. lol

Ok so i am going to try and upgrade my desktop. Can you use a AM2+/AM3 cpu on a AM2 motherboard?

yes ... it should. AFAIK am3 cpus will work on am3 mobos which will have ddr3 ram, and they will work on am2 boards as well with ddr2 ram.

Official' support is for AM2+ boards. AM2 boards are likely to support the AM3 proccys though.

with latest bios update for your MOBO you can have AM3 cpu's running on your AM2+ mobo affraid
